Ruth M. Mousley

Ruth M. Mousley, 86, of Waymart died Wednesday evening, August 29, 2018 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center, Honesdale after an illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Eugene "Skip" Mousley who died June 8, 2016. They were married on September 14, 1957 in St. Mary's Church in Waymart. Born May 10, 1932 in Waymart, she was the daughter of the late John & Victoria (Lipko) Savage. Ruth worked at the former Waymart Knitwear from age 18 until she retired at age 59.  She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Waymart.  Ruth enjoyed going for walks; especially to Lake Ladore where she enjoyed the beauty of nature around her. She also loved going to flea markets and garage sales and negotiating the prices of her new treasures.  She will be dearly missed. Ruth is survived by two sons: Eugene A. Mousley and his wife Debby of Honesdale, Eric Mousley and his wife Marlene of Waymart; seven grandchildren: Kimberly Graff and her husband Brian, Amanda Mousley, Jamie Mousley, Kristen Mousley, Ellen Gilbert and her husband Matt, Cassie Perry and her husband Terry, and Callie Mousley; several great-grandchildren; a brother Robert Savage of NY; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her son, John H. Mousley; and several brothers and sisters. In accordance with her wishes, following cremation, private interment will take place in Canaan Corners Cemetery, Owego Turnpike, Waymart.
