Sharon L. Lillie, 62, of Clinton Township, Waymart passed away peacefully at home on Sunday evening, October 3, 2021 of natural causes. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her beloved husband, Robert F. Lillie on February 28, 1997. Born January 5, 1959 in Honesdale, she was the daughter of Frances (Bunting) Faatz of Rileyville and the late Earl Faatz, Sr. Sharon graduated from Honesdale High School in 1976. She worked for many years as a legal secretary, and later went on to become the office manager at the Wayne County Magisterial District Court in Hawley. Sharon retired in January of this year and adored every moment she had to spend with her grandson. She enjoyed camping at Ponderosa Pines Campground and loved to go to yard sales to look for treasures. Sharon always enjoyed good conversation with a glass of wine. She was a devoted mother and will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her mother, Sharon is also survived by her son, who was her best friend, Nicholas R. Lillie and his wife Tiffany of Prompton; and her grandson, Robert Harold Lillie who was her pride and joy; sisters, Kathy Menotti and her husband Marty, Jenny Faatz and her companion Bernie; and her brother, Earl Faatz, Jr., all of Honesdale; nieces and nephew, Alison, Meghan, Matt, Carley, Audrey, and Julianne; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Peggy Zielinski, Kate Magalski and her husband Mark, Marianne Thorpe and her husband Jim, Rob Shino and his wife Julie, and Kenny Shino and his wife Laurie; her father-in-law, R. John Lillie; and her dog Shiloh who was her constant companion. Sharon was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Rita (Carley) Lillie; and her loving companion of many years, Paul Tallman. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Graveside Services will be private, and held for immediate family and close friends in Clinton Center Cemetery, 1000 Belmont Turnpike, Waymart, PA with the Honorable Bonnie Carney officiating.
